Grace and peace to you.

Take time this week to address what accountability looks like in your life. If we are truly worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth, then accountability must be evident in how we live, how we treat others, and how we steward what God has entrusted to us. Accountability is not simply correction, it is alignment. It is the daily decision to live in a way that reflects God’s character, God’s justice, and God’s love. Let us examine ourselves honestly and commit to lives that honor God fully.

Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Micah 6:1–8 (NRSVUE) under the theme “What the Lord Requires.” This familiar yet powerful passage reminds us that God is not seeking empty rituals, but hearts committed to doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with our God. Together, we will reflect on how these requirements shape our daily living and deepen our accountability to God and one another.

The sermon theme for the week is “Do Not Let Go” from Proverbs 4:10–18 (NRSVUE). We will be encouraged to hold fast to wisdom, instruction, and the path of righteousness. In a world filled with distractions and detours, we are called to remain steadfast and not let go of what God has placed within us.

Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.

Additionally, please consider supporting the YPD Jazz Brunch on May 24th, which is being sponsored in celebration of our 41st Church Anniversary. This event will not only highlight the gifts and efforts of our young people but also serve as a meaningful time of fellowship and celebration.

Let us remain accountable, faithful, and committed as we continue to keep the charge of the Lord.

With encouragement and grace,
