Grace and peace to you.
Let us remember that the story of the empty tomb is our story. The risen Savior is not distant, but present with us, calling us to walk in grace, to live in redemption, and to boldly share the good news. Because He lives, we have hope. Because He lives, we have purpose. Because He lives, we are empowered to live transformed lives.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Isaiah 55:6–11 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Seek the Lord” – The Power and Promise of God’s Word. In this passage, we are reminded that God’s Word is living and effective, accomplishing exactly what God intends. As we seek the Lord, we will discover that God’s ways and thoughts are higher, yet always purposeful and faithful.
The sermon theme for the week is “Continue to Believe” from John 20:30–31 (NRSVUE). Even after the resurrection, there were questions, doubts, and moments of uncertainty. Yet Jesus meets us in those spaces and calls us to keep believing. Faith is not the absence of questions, but the decision to trust God in the midst of them.
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.
Let us walk in resurrection power, remain steadfast in faith, and continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With resurrection hope,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
