Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
Take the opportunity this week to meditate on humble beginnings. Christ’s humble entrance into the world truly sets the tone for the endless possibilities of what God can bring forth in our lives. What begins small, quiet, or unnoticed can become the very place where God’s glory is revealed.
There will be no Wednesday Night Bible Study this week. Use this time to finish wrapping gifts, assembling presents, and preparing your hearts for the celebration of Christ’s birth. I am truly thankful I have moved past the season of having to assemble gifts myself! We will reconnect on December 31, 2025, for the final Bible Study of the year as we reflect and prepare for what lies ahead.
This Sunday, Reverend Renée Eubanks will serve as our preacher for the hour. As a church, let us be in anticipation for the word God will bring forth through her. Please keep her lifted in prayer. Rev. Eubanks also leads our Winter Wonderland initiative, and I know her spirit will be stirred from the collective efforts to bless others during this sacred season.
Thank you to everyone who purchased items for families and to those who will assist during Winter Wonderland. My heart truly smiles at the way this church continues to come together to serve and bless those in need. This is the love of Christ made visible.
Merry Christmas, New Hope! Let the world know that we are joyful, grateful, and that we adore the God we serve. May the light of Christ shine brightly in your homes and through your lives.
As always, take the opportunity to invite someone to worship with us on Sunday. And remember there is a seat waiting for you in Church School, whether you join us in person or virtually.
Let’s Keep the Charge of the Lord!!!
With joy and gratitude,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
