Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
Grace and peace to you, Church.
Church, I pray you have taken time to sit and prayerfully process Jeremiah 18 following the inspirational sermon from Reverend Dr. Christal Bell Bonner. We are reminded that we are in the Potter’s hands, and that God’s refining work does not discard the cracks or imperfections but lovingly uses them. There is a purpose for you in the kingdom, and God is shaping us for divine intention and holy use.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Nehemiah 3 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Rebuilding Together: The Power of Collective Faithfulness.” As we study this chapter, we will see how God’s work advances when the people commit themselves together, each person laboring faithfully, side by side, for the good of the whole community.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Nehemiah 2 (NRSVUE), centering on prayer in action. As Nehemiah moves from prayer to assessment and action, he will serve as our guide while we examine the circumstances of our lives, our church, and our broader community.
The sermon theme for this week is “Answering a Question with a Question” from John 1:35–42 (NRSVUE). We will reflect on Jesus’ engagement with the first disciples and consider how Christ invites us into deeper reflection, relationship, and discipleship through thoughtful and transformative encounters.
Let us continue to be in prayer for those within our church family those seeking healing, those grieving the loss of loved ones, those searching for employment, and those pressing forward toward the victories God intends for their lives. May we cover one another in love, compassion, and steadfast faith..
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM..
Let us remain faithful and encouraged as we continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With love and hope,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
