| Dear New Hope AME Church Family, Grace and peace to you, Church. The decision before us as a people is whether we will choose community or chaos. God continues to call us toward one another toward shared responsibility, mutual care, and collective faithfulness. We have the capacity to clean the polluted land before us, spiritually and communally, so that we may experience continued rest as God’s people. Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Nehemiah 4 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Building with One Hand, Guarding with the Other.” This chapter reminds us that faithful work often requires both perseverance and vigilance. As we rebuild, we must also remain watchful anchored in prayer, committed to the work, and united in purpose. The sermon for Steward and Trustee Day will be delivered by Reverend Donald Marbury. We should be in anticipation for how God will speak through Reverend Marbury as we reflect on stewardship, responsibility, and faithful leadership within the life of the church. I encourage each of you to develop a daily devotional and prayer time. Remaining engaged with God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth, clarity, and strength. It is through consistent prayer and Scripture that we are shaped for faithful living and service. Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM. Let us move forward together, choosing community, faith, and obedience as we continue to keep the charge of the Lord. With faith and resolve, Reverend Aaron Tinch Pastor |
