As you journey through this week, remember the value of your birthright. Your birthright is not for sale. Do not exchange what God has promised for temporary comfort, immediate gratification, or fleeting success. Treasure the inheritance God has prepared for you. Trust that God continues to curate the right space and the right time for your birthright to be fully manifested. What God has ordained for your life cannot be replaced by anything this world has to offer. Hold fast to God’s promises and remain faithful as God brings them to fulfillment.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Isaiah 40:28–31 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Renewed Strength for the Weary” – Hope, Endurance, and Trust in the Everlasting God. Together, we will be reminded that the God we serve never grows weary or faint. When our own strength is exhausted, God renews us with fresh hope, enabling us to run without growing weary and to walk without fainting.
This Sunday, we will be blessed by the preached Word from Reverend Aisha Johnson. I ask that you be in prayer for her and with her as she prepares to bring forth a message from God. May the Holy Spirit strengthen and anoint her as she proclaims God’s truth to our congregation.
Please remember that our Church Conference will take place in person on Monday, July 27th, and our Quarterly Conference with Presiding Elder Rev. Dr. Dededrick O. Rivers will be held virtually on Tuesday, July 28th at 7:15 PM. I encourage everyone to participate as we continue the work of ministry and discern God’s direction for New Hope.
As a church family, let us continue our commitment to invitation and evangelism. Let’s all invite at least one person to join us for Bible Study, Church School, or Worship Service. If any of these ministries have blessed your life, why not share that blessing with someone else? Your invitation may be the very encouragement they need to experience the love and grace of Christ.
May we cherish the inheritance God has given us, wait patiently for God’s promises to unfold, and faithfully keep the charge of the Lord.
With faith and expectation,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
