Grace and peace to you.
The encouragement before us is simple yet profound: be obedient to the commands of God. Do not disguise disobedience as delay. When God has spoken, our responsibility is to respond faithfully. Our actions do not exist in isolation—they carry generational ramifications. What we choose today shapes the spiritual legacy of tomorrow. Let us be a people who move when God says move and trust when God says trust.
For the month of March, our Bible Study theme will be “Hearing God in Unexpected Ways.” This Wednesday, we will focus on Exodus 3 (NRSVUE) under the title: “I AM Who I AM” – Encountering the Holy God Who Sends and Sustains. As Moses encounters the burning bush, we will reflect on how God reveals Himself, calls us by name, and sends us with divine authority and sustaining power.
The sermon theme for the week is “The Thirst for Water” from Exodus 17:1–7 (NRSVUE). We will examine what happens when we are in seasons of transition—when uncertainty tests our faith and we are tempted to question God’s presence. Even in moments of thirst, God remains faithful to provide.
Be vigilant in your prayers. This world needs our prayers. Pray earnestly. Pray fervently. Let prayer be more than routine—let it be the lifeline that connects us to God’s wisdom, courage, and peace.
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.
Let us walk in obedience, remain watchful in prayer, and continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With resolve and hope,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
