Grace and peace to you.
God is calling us higher in this season. Rise up. Stand up and live. This is not a time for complacency or retreat, but a moment of divine invitation to step fully into the life God has ordained for us. God’s call requires movement, courage, and faith. Let us rise with confidence, stand with conviction, and live with purpose.
We continue our Bible Study theme, “Hearing God in Unexpected Ways.” This Wednesday, we will focus on Habakkuk 2 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Waiting, Watching, and Living by Faith in Troubled Times.” As the prophet waits on the Lord and receives the vision, we are reminded that faith requires patience, attentiveness, and trust in God’s timing—even when circumstances feel uncertain.
This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and the sermon will be delivered by Presiding Elder Jonathan Weaver of the Potomac District of the Washington Conference. Let us be in prayer for him as he prepares to bring forth a timely and Spirit-led message for God’s people.
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.
Let us rise to the occasion, remain steadfast in faith, and continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With strength and expectation,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
