Grace and peace to you.
A gentle reminder for each of us: God is a sustainer. The wilderness season is not your destination. Even in moments of uncertainty, transition, or struggle, God remains present. Keep holding on to God. Keep trusting God. Keep walking with God. The same God who leads us into the wilderness is also the God who sustains us while we are there and faithfully brings us through.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on 1 Samuel 3 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Speak, LORD, for Your Servant Is Listening” – Hearing and Responding to the Voice of God. As we examine Samuel’s encounter with God’s voice, we will reflect on the importance of spiritual attentiveness and readiness to respond when the Lord calls.
This Sunday we will celebrate Women’s Day under the theme “Women Emerging from Distraction and Discomfort to Destiny” from Romans 8:18. The preacher for this special occasion will be The Reverend Dr. Christal Bell-Bonner. We look forward with great anticipation to how God will speak through her as we honor the faith, resilience, and leadership of the women in our church and community.
Please remember that Church Conference will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Your presence and participation are important as we continue the work and ministry of the church together.
This world needs our prayers. Pray earnestly. Pray fervently. Prayer anchors us, guides us, and sustains us as we seek God’s will.
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.
Let us remain steadfast in faith as we continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With care and encouragement,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
