Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
Be encouraged with this word: Do not let go of your faith. Do not let go in the dark, because dawn is already on the way. Even when you cannot yet see the light, trust that God is already moving, already working, and already preparing what is next. Hold on to what God has spoken. Hold on to what you know to be true. Your faith will carry you through the night into the promise of a new day.
Our Wednesday Night Bible Study will focus on Matthew 7:24–29 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Building Life on the Rock” Hearing and Doing the Words of Christ. As we study together, we will be reminded that a strong and steady life is built not just on hearing God’s Word, but on putting it into practice. When the storms come and they will, those who are grounded in Christ will stand firm.
This Sunday, we will celebrate Mother’s Day, and the Word will be delivered by our very own Rev. Renee Eubanks. Let us be in prayer for her as she prepares to bring forth a powerful and timely message. We also give thanks for the mothers, grandmothers, and mother-figures among us who continue to nurture, guide, and bless our lives.
Take the opportunity to invite others to worship with us on Sunday or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday. Sunday Church School is available in person and virtually each Sunday at 8:45 AM.
Please also consider supporting the YPD Jazz Brunch, which highlights our 41st Church Anniversary. Your presence and support make a difference as we celebrate and invest in the life of our church.
Let us remain steadfast, faithful, and encouraged as we continue to keep the charge of the Lord.
With hope and encouragement,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
