Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
As we move through this season, we should collectively be reflecting on the gift God has blessed each of us with and discerning how we can make a sacrificial offering with that gift. God has entrusted us with unique abilities, passions, and purpose. May we give back to God not out of convenience, but out of commitment, gratitude, and love.
This Wednesday for Bible Study, we will focus on Colossians 3:12–17 (NRSVUE) as we explore the theme Clothed with Compassion and Gratitude. This passage calls us to put on the character of Christ: compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and above all, love. These garments shape how we walk with God and how we show up for one another.
This Sunday, our children, youth, and young adults will lead us in worship. Let us come with open hearts to receive what God will speak through them. We are blessed to have Reverend Aisha Johnson as our preacher for the morning. I am looking forward to the word that God will deliver through her.
We will also take time to recognize our students who earned honor roll for the first quarter of this school year. Their dedication and hard work deserve celebration, and we will honor them with joy and pride.
Take the opportunity this week to invite someone to worship with us on Sunday, to join Church School at 8:45 AM, or to attend Bible Study on Wednesday evening. These are valuable moments of growth, fellowship, and spiritual strengthening. I look forward to meeting the people you invite.
Family, a spirit of gratitude and service has the power to truly shift the atmosphere—in our homes, in our church, and in our community. Let us carry that spirit with us as we continue to seek God together.
Let’s Keep the Charge of the Lord!!!
With love and appreciation,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
