Dear New Hope AME Church Family,

Be encouraged in knowing that the righteous live by their faithfulness. Keep doing the work to show that you are living right within. God honors those who remain steadfast and faithful even when challenges arise. Your faithfulness is not in vain—it is the evidence of God’s work alive in you.

This Wednesday Night Bible Study we will focus on Psalm 103:1-22 (NRSVUE) under the theme “Bless the Lord, O My Soul: Gratitude as Worship.” This passage reminds us that thanksgiving is not just a feeling—it is a spiritual discipline. When we bless the Lord with our whole being, gratitude becomes worship, and worship becomes our way of life.

This Sunday, we will be honoring our Veterans who have served in the armed services. We are blessed to welcome Reverend Katina Randolph, a veteran of the United States Army, as our guest preacher. We look forward to how God will speak through her message and, prayerfully, to hearing her beautiful singing voice as part of our worship experience.

I would also like to bring to your attention a public hearing scheduled for November 17, 2025, at 6 PM to address the proposed Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) #25-187 on Data Centers. The meeting will take place in the Charles County Government Building Conference Room (“Blue Room”). I encourage you to learn more about this proposal and its potential impact on our communities. It’s important for us to stay informed and engaged.

Take the opportunity this week to invite others to worship with us on Sunday, attend Church School at 8:45 AM, or join us for Bible Study on Wednesday evening. Each of these moments provides an opportunity to grow deeper in faith and community.

Let’s remain faithful, focused, and filled with praise.

Be accountable to the manner in which you worship and praise.

With love and gratitude,

Reverend Aaron Tinch
