Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
Grace and peace to you!
Be sure to continue to operate under grace. You have both the capacity to receive grace and the calling to extend grace. As followers of Christ, we are recipients of divine mercy, and we are also challenged to share that same compassion in how we live, serve, and relate to one another.
This Wednesday Night for Bible Study, we will focus on 1 Samuel 17:1-50 (NRSVUE) as we explore Bullying and Courage. The story of David and Goliath reminds us that even when faced with intimidating circumstances, God equips us with courage, faith, and conviction to stand strong. Let’s come ready to reflect on how we can confront the giants in our own lives—and in our communities—with holy boldness.
This Sunday, we will be celebrating Men’s Day under the theme “Speaking for Christ, Standing for God” (2 Corinthians 5:20). Our preacher for the morning will be Reverend Abraham Smith, and we anticipate a powerful word from the Lord. Let’s come together to uplift, honor, and celebrate the men of our church for their steadfastness, service, and faith.
Please remember that District Conference will take place Thursday through Saturday at Reid Temple AME Church. Let us keep our leaders, presenters, and attendees in prayer as we continue to do the work of the Kingdom together.
And as always, there is a seat waiting for you in Church School every Sunday at 8:45 AM. It’s an incredible opportunity to grow in the Word, connect with others, and deepen your walk with God.
Let’s keep walking in grace, growing in faith, and pressing forward in love.
Let’s keep the charge of the Lord!!!
With gratitude and peace,
Reverend Aaron Tinch
Pastor
