Dear New Hope AME Church Family,

Live and thrive knowing that God is in the midst of all you are experiencing in life. No matter what challenges or victories each day brings, God is present—guiding, strengthening, and sustaining us through it all.

I want to take a moment to say thank you for the incredible love and support you showed on Sunday, October 26th. Your prayers and presence were truly felt as I taught for the Connectional Church School and preached during both our worship service and the homecoming service at Ebenezer Charlotte Hall. Your encouragement continues to inspire me in ministry and in service to God’s people.

This Wednesday Night Bible Study, our focus will be on Psalm 34:17–20 (NRSVUE) as we explore God’s Nearness in Brokenness. Together, we will wrestle with the question: Where is God when we are going through? Come prepared for an honest and hopeful discussion about the ways God draws near to the brokenhearted and delivers those in distress.

Our sermon theme for Sunday is “Their Spirit is Not Right” from Habakkuk 1:1–4; 2:1–4 (NRSVUE). This text invites us to examine how faith endures even when we are surrounded by injustice, waiting for God’s timing and trusting His vision.

This is also Communion Sunday, a sacred time to reflect on the boundless love of our Savior. I encourage you to meditate on the song “No Greater Love” by Fred Hammond. There truly is no greater love than the love Christ has for us—His mercy so tender, erasing our transgressions and restoring our souls.

Take the opportunity this week to invite someone to join us—for worship on Sunday, Church School at 8:45 AM, or Bible Study on Wednesday. I am looking forward to meeting the people you invite and sharing in what God is doing through our growing community of faith.

Finally, I encourage you to be accountable in your worship and praise. Worship is not something we watch—it’s something we live. Let’s continue to bring our full selves before God in gratitude and joy.

Let’s keep the charge of the Lord!!!

With love and grace,
