Dear New Hope AME Church Family,
Carry with you this week the covenant truth: Jesus Christ has the utmost patience with us as we continue to develop as believers. His grace sustains us, His love covers us, and His patience shapes us as we grow in faith.
This Wednesday, our Bible Study focus will be on Ruth 1:6-18 (NRSVUE) as we reflect on the theme Faithful in Uncertainty. Ruth’s commitment in the face of hardship reminds us of what it means to cling to faith when the way forward is not clear. Join us as we draw strength and encouragement from this powerful story.
Our sermon theme for Sunday is “When There is No Peace” from Jeremiah 8:8-22 (NRSVUE). As turmoil continues to stir within our nation, we will gather as a people to seek God’s presence and remember that even in unrest, He is our refuge and healer.
It was a joy to worship and fellowship with you at Gilbert Run Park. Thank you to our Hospitality Team, Trustees, Ushers, Security, Stewards, and every hand that worked to make this a meaningful event. Truly, it was a day of joy and togetherness. And as one of my favorite movie titles says, “Let’s Do It Again!”
As we prepare to gather this coming Sunday for Church School at 8:45 AM and worship service, I encourage you to invite others to join us. This Sunday is International RAYAC Sunday, and we will stand in support of our young adults as they lead us in worship. Let’s show them our love, encouragement, and prayers as they continue to grow in leadership and faith.
Let’s keep the charge of the Lord!!!
With love and gratitude,
